An etiquette school.

A new client of mine, who is becoming a quick friend of mine, is turning a new page in her life and to do so she is starting a new business, or to be exact several businesses all related to one another. I could not wait to get home to start sketching her new logos away and coming up with ideas for her marketing materials. Here is one of the sketches for the new logo. Still a work in progress, but we are getting there :-)

This is the final logo for BB & NB, Brigitte Badea & New Beginnings overall umbrella, which will house other businesses within it.
Mattie's shoe is one of the businesses within BB & NB company, or almost fortune 500 company :-)

Brand for a bakery.

I love my clients :-) This particular one is starting a new bakery, based on some old time family tradition recipes for Armenian pastry, but with a modern twist to them. What do you think? Would you like to stop by their bakery to try out some of the most incredibly tasty treats? I can say this, as I have tried them.

Branding a new business venture.

How exciting it was to meet my current client who is starting something wonderful. An established, successful hair stylist wants to give back to the community in the way of guiding new graduates of the beauty industry on their way to finding their place within it. We discussed logo, stationery, merchandising, as a start off point. This is the first idea I had provided her with. Work in progress, but we are on our way to figuring this out. What do you think? I would love to hear your comments.

Publishing house logo.

First and foremost, a logo has to work in black and white, as it is the least expensive print ad that any starting out business owner can afford. I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out what colors I am going to use for this publishing house logo, as I was designing it. Then I did a bit of research and I found out that most of the publishing companies logos are black and white. Boy, was I relieved! :-) The logo turned out beautifully, dont you think? Client loved it and was very happy with the outcome.

TNFG.

One of the things I absolutely love to design are logos. It is such a small things, and yet it is very important - from just one glance, the viewer of the logo has to get a feeling of what the  logo represents, and at times that is a fortune 500 company in the making.

I have made a friend recently, who I think is on her way to greatness. She asked on Facebook if anybody would design a logo for her and I could not say "no", as I could design logos all day long for free, but I do have those pesky little things called "bills", and so, designing logos for friends is something that I do from time to time. Here is what we came up with. What do you think?

She was also in need of a business card, and here it is.

In the works will be labels for her fantastic products as well.
